THE BENEFITS OF BABY SWIMMING
Thanks to this activity, baby becomes confident. This awakens his senses to gravity, temperatures, noises, the contact of water on his skin and the sparkle of water. Water reveals the child’s awakening, progress, relationship with the environment and parents, anxieties and ability to overcome them.
It also aims to foster motor skills, confidence and independence. For baby and parents alike, it’s an enriching experience that allows you to enjoy a special, exclusive moment with your child, away from outside pressures. Baby learns to feel at ease in and under water.
- 6 to 18 months: Development of motor autonomy
- 18 to 36 months: Development of psychological autonomy

FUN TEACHING
The courses have multiple objectives:
Getting into the water: use safe entry and exit techniques appropriate to each stage of motor development.
Balance: provide the body orientation and turning experiences needed to be mobile and safe in the water.
Breathing: develop the confidence needed to wet your face, blow bubbles and learn to immerse yourself using playful exercises to relax and control your breathing.
Barboter: developing the beginnings of movement with a baby who’s begins tapping feet and pulling hands with rudimentary exercises
Immersion: encourage a step-by-step process in which children initiate their own immersions, use simple words and landmarks, create a fun and reassuring environment for discovering the underwater world.
Floating: learn to float on your stomach and on your back, essential for your child’s exploration and survival.
Safety: encourage risk-free behaviour by insisting on a simple safety message: “Always swim with an adult” to base their aquatic education on a positive and safe attitude.
