It’s the coaches who report on their students’ progress by testing their skills at every lesson. Teaching repetitive movements by swimming coaches teaches children muscle memory, gradually developing skills and eliminating any water-related blockages. So you’re going to see your child doing the same exercises in the pool over and over again, with a possibly distorted visual impression: why does he do the same thing all the time, when does he ever go swimming!
In each lesson, the coach develops and tests each student’s skills. The exercises are designed to prepare for the placement tests. As soon as a child ticks all the boxes, he or she is ready to move on to the next program. The coach will inform you as soon as the test has been passed during the debriefing at the end of the course.
What’s more, we invite you to download our fun and intuitive OAK Progress Tracker app to follow your child’s progress in real time. This application is designed to be used by parents and children alike, to know exactly where they are in their learning process. Virtual and physical badges are awarded by the coaches at the end of each lesson during the debriefing, adding a motivating and rewarding dimension for your child.
Don’t hesitate to ask questions about your children’s progress at the debriefing.
